VBS DAY 1

So VBS 2010 kicked off this morning at ShoreLife church. We had a ton of kids in attendance and it seemed like all in attendance (adults included) had a great time. The first day is always an interesting one, because all of things you forget as a director become highlighted and larger than life :) We had a few hiccups but nothing unmanageable. I was talking with a dear friend and volunteer this morning as I was stressing over some logistics, and she reminded me that we have a lot of un-churched kiddos coming and Satan wants nothing more than to ruin the impact we can have in the lives of these kiddos. What a great reminder that was to me this morning! I am pumped about the remainder of this week and think that the Lord has something HUGE in store for these kiddos! I am hoping for a solid 10 hours of sleep to prepare myself for a busy week at VBS. (ok so maybe I am hoping for just a solid night sleep without lists and lists of things do to popping in my brain in the middle of the night).
