Wow! What a weekend! Saturday night I was packing up my things to head off to Bolsa Chica beach for a bonfire double date with my roommate and her boyfriend. We grabbed just about everything from the truck, and as we stepped away I realized Bryan left his guitar in the bed of his truck - I kindly reminded him to grab it. He grabbed it and on we went. As we were walking on the board walk, right about at sunset (gorgeous by the way) he looked around and I thought he got something in his eyes, he dropped down to the ground and opened his guitar case. In my perspective, I'm thinking he got something in his eyes or the sunshine is bothering him and he just realized he had some sunglasses or a towel to wipe his eyes in his guitar case.....so I patiently wait for him to "find what he's looking for"
Then he turns around, and is on 1 knee and I see the blue box in his hands.....I freaked out!! I could not believe what was happening....it didn't feel real at all! I kept asking him, "Wait are you serious? Is this for real? Are you kidding me? WHAT THE HECK! I am so confused!!! Then I dropped down to the ground and gave him a big kiss (which at this point he still hasn't said a word) He then popped the question, and I said "YEAH!!!" we hugged and kissed! I then saw Jennifer Draper and Alison & Kurt there taking pictures! Then I saw Chawna running on the sand with a sign and Dana behind her with a picnic basket with Martinelli's and classes for us! It was a fabulous celebration at the beach at sunset! There was then a party at his house with some of the most special people to us! It was great :)
How lucky I am to have a man who treats me worthy of such a special and memorable event! I LOVE YOU BRY!
