So this week has been especially taxing on me physically and mentally. Its so hard being as busy as I was this past week with exams and papers to focus on God's goodness and ways that he blesses me even in the midst of craziness. This week was absolute craziness yet I feel so blessed for God to have granted me such an open mind to learn. I feel so silly saying that I "gave my finals up to the Lord" but I did. This week, I wanted to make sure that I didn't get so caught up in my business that I forgot about my Jesus. Surprisingly, this week has been phenomenal!!! God is so good - a week that seems impossibly to make phenomenal, He did!!!
On a bit of a bitter-sweet note, I am saddened by the reality that hit me today - I only have ONE semester left to spend with my Biola family. Biola has been such a huge part of my life for the past 3 years, it will be so hard to say goodbye to this community, this family. I am realizing that the college years are invaluable (well other than my beautiful tuition money :) ) and irreplaceable. I have so much enjoyed my late night runs to In N Out, midnight study sessions, late night talks with my roommate after the lights are out, ridiculous people that burn pop corn in the lobby at 4am and require the entire dorm to evacuate in our PJ's, inspiring lectures from professors, thought-provoking chapels, yummy breakfast with Chawna and so much more!
My prayer for my last semester at Biola, will be that I will be able to savor the moments that are completely God-sent. I will cherish the relationships that God has blessed me with and bask in the beautiful community of Christian ladies I am so blessed to live with.
